Since 1962, volunteers have been the backbone of sailing education on the Mississippi. Your time and generosity keep our US Sailing–accredited program accessible to sailors of every age and background in the Quad Cities.
The Quad City Sailing School is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit — all donations are tax-deductible.
Every dollar goes directly toward keeping our boats in the water and our students on the river.
Our fleet of training boats needs ongoing care — hull repairs, rigging replacements, and safety equipment upgrades to keep every vessel seaworthy.
From life jackets and safety gear to clubhouse upkeep, your support keeps our waterfront ready for students, instructors, and race committee alike.
Not all contributions come with a dollar sign. We’re always looking for people willing to lend a hand.
Help with seasonal boat prep, dock repairs, grounds maintenance, and getting the waterfront ready for the sailing season.
Experienced sailors can volunteer as instructors or teaching assistants for our First Sail, Small Boat, and Keelboat courses.
Help run races by crewing the committee boats, managing signals and marks, or assisting with scoring on race days.
